1. Install Windows USB / DVD Download Tool by clicking below mentioned download button.
2. Click Start, select Programs, then select Windows 7 USB DVD Tool to run the USB/DVD Download Tool.
3. Click Browse to choose the location of the Windows 8.1 ISO file. (The file should have .iso at the end of the name.)
4. Click Next, then Click USB device for the media type which you will use to install Windows 8.1.
5. Insert the USB device and click Begin copying. ***(Erasing of Drive & Copying of bootable Windows happens here. Be sure you have backed up any files on the drive PRIOR to clicking "Begin copying".)
If you backed up your files but forgot to clear your flash drive as listed above, do not worry. Windows will clear it for you upon clicking "Erase USB Device". You may also exit the operation by clicking "Cancel", and no action will be taken on the drive.
6. Creating bootable USB device will begin.
